This photo, composed of three 35mm frames, is of the Kilauea caldera taken from its south edge from Crater Rim Drive. On the left edge one can see the Halemaumau crater and in the foreground one can see the explosion blocks thrown from the crater in the 1924 subsidence. The rounded hill on the right is Pu'u Pua'i, site of the 1959 Kilauea Iki eruptions.
