Clock Tower, Too

Big Ben, the great bell in the Clock Tower, was cast in 1858 in the Whitechapel Foundry. It weights 13.5 tons and is 7 feet high. It is named after either a popular boxer of the time, Benjamin Caunt, or the chief commissioner of works, Sir Benjamin Hall.
