C J & P Railroad

The C J & P Railroad was first established in 1992, rebuilt in 1995 and expanded in 1999. It covers approximately 700 square feet and contains approximately 320 feet of track. The layout
supports about 20 structures (mostly kits) broken up into several scenes including a farm, a small town business district, two station complexes and a rural country setting. A signal system has been installed that can run up to four trains on the main line. The railroad also has a three-track staging yard and a passing track at one of the station complexes. There are some
perennials but most of the plantings are annuals. This year over 700 plants were put in. Trains currently operated include LGB, Lionel, and Bachmann. |
