The Rivendell & Midland Railroad is an all live steam railroad running at garden level on the periphery of a 60' x 85' professionally landscaped area designed so railroad, garden, and pond compliment each other. The 180' continuous mainline features a 3 foot high timber trestle bridge, yard with a turntable, two passing sidings, and several spurs all of which offer many operating possibilities. Motive power is all live steam, radio controlled. Roster includes a Denver and Rio Grande style 2-8-0 (Pearse), a 14 ton 2 cylinder 'Tee' boiler Shay (Geoffbilt/Graham engine) and a Little River 2-4-4-2 (scratch built/Roundhouse components). The railroad is narrow gauge (1:20.3) set in approximately 1910. Operation is peddler freight, passenger, mixed and logging. Rolling stock is modified Bachman and scratch built. It consists of basic freight cars, a two car passenger train, and logging equipment.
